Los padres y compañeros de los estudiantes desaparecidos por el Estado de la escuela Normal Rural Raul Isidro Burgos en Ayotzinapa estarán en Chicago del 3 al 6 de como parte de la Caravana 43. Nos reuniremos para escuchar las voces de estxs compañerxs y para uniremos a su protesta. Participaremos en estos eventos como colectivos autónomos, personas autónomas, quienes entendemos que los gobiernos, las “autoridades” electas y la política de arriba no pueden ser la solución a la violencia sistémica en la que vivimos.

Te invitamos a participar haciendo una pancarta grande y añadir los nombres de las personas que se encuentran desaparecidas en las cárceles, fronteras, cementerios, bodegas, centros de detención y deportaciones, en muerte en vida de servidumbre y asimilación, en manos de los estados que torturan, matan, explotan, desplazan, y quienes engendran una guerra contra todos los que se rebelan y resisten.

Padres y estudiantes de Ayotzinapa, así como el Congreso Nacional Indígena, siempre han insistido en que la violencia que envolvió a México en las últimas décadas, no es simplemente un asunto de narcotráfico y de algunos funcionarios “corruptos.” Acusan que la naturaleza del Estado colonialista es el gobernar a través de la violencia y el terror, y que la llamada “guerra contra las drogas” – patrocinada por los EE.UU. y llevada a cabo en ambos lados de la frontera – es en realidad una guerra contra el pueblo pobre, campesinxs, indígenas, y aquellxs quienes resisten en las Américas. Parents and fellow students of the disappeared students from the Isidro Burgos Rural Normal School in Ayotzinapa are visiting Chicago April 3-6 as part of the Caravana 43. We will gather to hear their voices and join them in protest. We come to these events as autonomous collectives, autonomous people, who understand that governments, elected “authorities” and politics-from-above cannot be the solutions to the systemic violence under which we live.
Join Semillas Autónomas in denouncing the violence of the state. We invite you to contribute to a large banner with the names of people who have been disappeared into prisons, borders, graveyards, warehouses, detention and deportations, into the living death of servitude and assimilation, into the hands of the state who tortures, kills, exploits, displaces, and wages a war against all those who rebel.
The semillas contingent will be making this banner throughout the weekend:

Ayotzinapa students and their parents, as well as the National Indigenous Congress, have always insisted that the violence that has engulfed Mexico over the past decades is not simply a matter of narco-trafficking and a few “corrupt” officials. They accuse that governing through violence and terror is the nature of the colonial state, and that the so-called “War on Drugs” — sponsored by the US and carried out on both sides of the border — is actually a war against the poor, campesinxs, indigenous, and resistant peoples of the Americas. They demand the return with life and freedom of their love ones, and the dismantling of the structures of the corporate state that sustain and perpetuate state violence. We join their voices of struggle.
